Question 1 - custom moulding:

Can You match the baseboard and casings in my grandmas house?

Yes, all we need is a sample of the trim or a detailed drawing to have knives made for our  moulding machine. Then it's simply a case of running the boards through the machine.

We can have new knives made and shipped to us in 48 hours.
To keep the costs even lower, it is possible for us to use just one knife.

Question 2 - installation:

Do you install?

No. We are not trim carpenters, but we can give you a list of names of people in the area that we recommmend.

Question 3 - finish:

Do you apply the finish?

We are not properly set up to spray lacquer or stain. We have contacts that are, though, and that is a good choice. We can do that if it's a short run and we can spray outside weather permitting.

You can save more money by doing the painting or staining yourself before installation.

QUESTION 4 -  Delivery

Do you deliver?

Yes, that is part of the service and it depends on where the product is going as to how much that will cost.

Question 5 - Wood

What types of wood are available?

We have access to all the lumber that is available out there, domestic as well as exotics, and can bring in one piece or a whole lift. We find that oak is still popular, as well as maple. Poplar is a good choice for paint grade.

We can machine all woods with the same quality results with no chatter marks or tear-out, even on figured woods like curly maple and cherry.
We can work with you to make your project unique.

Question 6 -  Pricing

Do you offer discounts?

Yes.  We have developed a price list for contractors and dealers that is available for the do-it-yourselfer who buys in quantity, usually a minimum of 100 linear feet of trim or 50 linear feet of flooring transition.  We can offer a further disount on complete house lots and long runs of trim.
